Industrial timing belt with 225 teeth, 8 mm pitch and 85 mm width operates from -22 to 194 °F
The Dayton 1LWA1 is a closed-loop HTD timing belt built for general industrial drives. It uses a neoprene body with nylon tooth coating and a fibreglass reinforcing cord. The belt runs on 8 mm pitch with 225 teeth and an 85 mm top width.
Verify that the mating pulleys are cut for 8 mm HTD pitch and that the centre distance matches the 1800 mm pitch length. Confirm the drive operates within the -22 °F to 194 °F temperature range and that a single-sided tooth profile suits the layout.
The nylon-faced teeth lower friction against the pulley flanks, extending cord life and cutting running noise. Fibreglass cords resist stretch so the 225-tooth engagement stays consistent under load. The neoprene body resists oil and ozone in typical plant environments.
