The Dayton 22NY82 is an 8 mm flush-mount indicator with an amber LED, a nylon body and a polycarbonate lens. It is designed for panels that need a visible status signal at 240 V AC or DC.

8 mm panel cut-out with tab terminals

Installation requires an 8 mm mounting hole and a panel thickness between 0.024 in and 0.055 in. The brass nut secures the body, and the 0.110 in quick-connect tabs accept standard push-on connectors; misalignment or over-thick panels will prevent a proper seal.

IP40 rating and 15 000 hour LED life

The light carries an IP40 rating, so it resists solid objects but is not protected against water ingress. At 4.17 mA draw the LED averages 15 000 hours of operation, after which brightness will decline and replacement is required.
