Dayton Stop Sleeve Pack

This pack contains fifty aluminium stop sleeves sized for 1/8 inch wire rope. They are intended for mechanics, riggers and maintenance teams who need a secure, non-load-bearing termination on small-diameter cable.

Swage-Type Termination

Each sleeve is a swage-type fitting with an overall length and outside diameter of 3/8 inch. The plain-finish aluminium alloy is crimped onto the rope to form a permanent stop without any lifting rating.

Plain Aluminium Alloy

The plain aluminium alloy resists corrosion during extended outdoor or industrial exposure. Because the sleeves are not rated for lifting, they remain reliable only when used as positional stops within their design limits.

Questions about this item

What does the pack quantity of 50 mean for a job that needs many stop sleeves?

The package contains fifty individual stop sleeves so you can complete multiple wire-rope terminations without reordering.

How does the swage fitting type affect the way this sleeve is installed?

A swage fitting requires a swaging tool to compress the aluminium sleeve onto the rope, creating a permanent mechanical connection.

What are the overall length and outside diameter of each sleeve, and will they fit standard 1/8 in rope ferrules?

Each sleeve measures 3/8 in overall length and 3/8 in outside diameter, matching the 1/8 in compatible rope diameter for standard ferrule dimensions.
