Dayton Stop Sleeve 1/4 In Aluminum Pack 10

This pack contains ten aluminium stop sleeves designed for 1/4 inch wire rope. Each sleeve has an overall length of 3/4 inch and an outside diameter of 3/4 inch. They are swage-type fittings with a plain finish. The product is not rated for lifting applications.

Verify Rope Diameter And Swage Tooling

Confirm that the wire rope you are terminating measures exactly 1/4 inch in diameter before ordering. The sleeves require a compatible swaging tool to form a secure connection. No load efficiency rating or lifting capability is assigned to these fittings.

Swaged Termination For Non-Lifting Uses

Once swaged the sleeve creates a permanent stop on the wire rope without adding lifting capacity. The aluminium alloy construction resists corrosion in plain finish. Ten sleeves per pack allow multiple terminations or spares for maintenance work.

Questions about this item

What comes in the pack and is any swaging tool included?

The pack contains ten 1/4 inch aluminium stop sleeves; a swaging tool is not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I choose between the listed versions or capacities for this item?

Only one version is listed — 1/4 inch rope diameter, 3/4 inch length, aluminium alloy, plain finish, pack of ten — so there is no alternative capacity to select.

What does the 1/4 inch rope diameter mean when I actually swage the sleeve onto wire rope?

It means the sleeve is sized for 1/4 inch diameter wire rope; after swaging it forms a permanent stop on that rope, but the product is not rated for lifting applications.
