Copper stop sleeves secure 1/8 in wire rope ends in a 50-piece pack for swaging applications
This pack contains fifty copper stop sleeves sized for 1/8 inch wire rope. Each sleeve measures 3/8 inch in overall length and outside diameter with a zinc-plated finish. They are designed for swage fitting applications where a secure rope termination is required. The sleeves are not rated for lifting use.
Use these sleeves to renew terminations on existing wire rope assemblies or to complete new fabrications. The jump is worth it when the old sleeve shows deformation, corrosion or slippage that compromises the connection. A fresh copper sleeve restores the mechanical grip without replacing the entire rope. They are not intended for overhead lifting scenarios.
The quantity comfortably handles small-batch fabrication, maintenance kits or field repairs across several rope ends. Copper material swages cleanly onto 1/8 inch diameter rope for a firm hold. Headroom runs out when the application demands a rated lifting fitting or a different rope diameter. Standards compliance is not applicable for this sleeve type.

The sleeve is designed for 1/8 in wire rope and has a 3/8 in overall length with a 3/8 in outside diameter.
Slide the sleeve onto the rope, position it, then compress it with a hand swaging tool sized for 1/8 in sleeves; the step often missed is verifying full compression across the entire 3/8 in length.
Inspect each sleeve for corrosion, cracking or deformation after heavy loading; replace any that show surface damage or have been crushed during a previous swage.
