Suits panel builders needing audible alerts

This unit fits panels that require a compact sounder with continuous or pulse tones between 75 dB and 85 dB. Installations needing a higher sound pressure level or a different voltage supply should consider alternative signal devices.

Voltage decides compatibility

The sounder operates only on 24V AC/DC circuits drawing 0.012 A to 0.020 A at 0.6 W. Verify that the control system provides exactly this voltage and current range before specifying the part.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 30XT46 tower light sounder tier is operating correctly after wiring it to 24V AC/DC?

Apply power and verify the unit produces an audible tone between 75 dB and 85 dB in either continuous or pulse mode; the polycarbonate housing should show no damage and the LEDs should illuminate steadily.

What comes with the 30XT46 tower light sounder tier and what must be purchased separately?

The 30XT46 sounder tier itself is supplied; a compatible base module from the 30XT48, 30XT50, 30XT51 or 30XT52 series and mounting hardware are not included and must be bought separately.

Which base module should I select to complete the 50 mm diameter stack with the 30XT46 sounder tier?

Match the 30XT46 with any 2 in diameter base from the 30XT48, 30XT50, 30XT51 or 30XT52 series; all share the 50 mm diameter and NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13 ratings.
