Pedestal Pump 3/4 in NPT
The Dayton 3ACB1 is a self-priming pedestal pump built for draining and transfer tasks. It uses a brass housing with a Buna-N impeller and a stainless steel shaft to handle liquids up to 5,000 SUS viscosity. The unit mounts close-coupled to a 3/4 hp motor.
Replaces gravity or manual draining
This pump upgrades installations that rely on gravity feed or hand-operated transfer. The jump is worth it when you need up to 11.9 gpm flow against 80 ft of head. It connects directly to 3/4 in NPT piping on both inlet and outlet.
Sustained pressure to 34.6 psi
Under continuous operation the pump maintains a maximum discharge pressure of 34.6 psi at the rated head. The close-coupled motor mount keeps alignment stable during extended runs. Self-priming action reduces downtime after interruptions.

Questions about this item
What NPT thread size do the inlet and outlet use?
Both the media intake and discharge connections are 3/4 inch NPT, so matching brass or steel fittings with the same thread size will seal directly.
How do I prime the pump before the first run?
The unit is self-priming; fill the casing with liquid through the discharge port until the impeller is submerged, then start the motor — running it dry will damage the Buna-N impeller.
When should I plan to replace the impeller?
The Buna-N impeller handles viscosities up to 5,000 SUS and pressures to 34.6 psi; inspect it at each scheduled service and swap it if the vanes show swelling, cracking or loss of flow at 11.9 gpm.
