1/3 HP Submersible Sump Pump

This Dayton 3BB78 submersible sump pump delivers 1/3 horsepower for residential water removal. It operates on 120V AC single-phase power at 60 Hz, drawing 6.8 amps during use. The unit suits basements or crawl spaces where automatic drainage is required.

Diaphragm switch with piggyback connection

A diaphragm actuation switch controls the pump automatically without a floating arm. The piggyback electrical connection plugs into a standard outlet, letting the pump cord plug into the switch. It turns on at 14 1/2 inches of water and shuts off at 5 inches, preventing short cycling during sustained inflow.

Cast iron body with 1-1/2 inch FNPT discharge

The pump body and impeller are cast iron for durability in dirty water. A carbon-ceramic shaft seal protects the motor from abrasive particles. The 1-1/2 inch FNPT discharge fits common PVC or hose fittings. Overall height is 11 3/4 inches with a 10 inch body diameter for sump pit clearance.
