Pillow Block Bearing 1 15/16 in Bore
The Dayton 3FCR6 pillow block bearing uses a cast iron housing and alloy steel radial ball insert. It fits a cylindrical shaft of 1 15/16 in bore diameter and mounts with two bolt-through holes on 6 1/4 in centres. The unit is double sealed and pre-lubricated with NLGI #2 equivalent grease.
Double sealed closure and cast iron housing
Double seals keep contaminants out while retaining the factory grease fill. Cast iron housing provides rigid support for the bearing insert across the operating range of -20 °F to 200 °F. The fixed centre height of 2 1/4 in simplifies alignment on existing mounting surfaces.
1 15/16 in cylindrical bore
This bearing only accepts a shaft of exactly 1 15/16 in diameter with a cylindrical fit. Builders using metric shafts, different imperial sizes or tapered seats cannot use this unit. The two-hole bolt pattern also limits mounting to flat surfaces with matching hole spacing.

Questions about this item
How often must the NGLI #2 equivalent lubricant be replenished in the double-sealed bearing?
The double-sealed design retains the factory NGLI #2 equivalent grease for the bearing's service life; no routine relubrication is required.
At what temperature does the cast-iron housing reach its 200 °F maximum rating under continuous load?
The bearing is rated for continuous operation up to 200 °F; sustained loads that drive housing temperature above this limit will reduce service life.
Does the cast-iron pillow block run hot or noisy when mounted bolt-through at 6 1/4 in centres all day?
With double-sealed radial ball inserts and cast-iron housing, the unit runs quietly; housing temperature stays within the -20 °F to 200 °F range during all-day operation.
