Wall housing for 16 in blade

This galvanised steel wall housing accepts a 16 in blade and provides a closed base for secure mounting. Overall dimensions are 20 1/4 in high, 20 1/4 in wide and 27 in deep. The unit requires a cut-out of 21 5/8 in by 21 5/8 in.

18 ga steel under continuous airflow

The 18 ga galvanised construction resists corrosion during sustained operation in damp or outdoor environments. Rigid side panels and mounting angles maintain alignment when the fan runs for long periods. The closed base prevents debris from entering the duct.

Four mounting angles and included guard

Four mounting angles allow firm attachment to masonry or framed openings. A single guard ships with the housing to cover the blade opening. The 27 in depth suits standard wall thicknesses without modification.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 16 in blade housing draw when running all day?

This galvanized steel wall housing contains no motor or electrical components, so it draws no power itself; the fan motor you install determines consumption.

What fan motor and mounting hardware must I already own to use this housing?

You need a 16 in diameter propeller fan and fasteners suitable for 18 ga galvanized steel; the package includes four mounting angles and four side panels but no motor.

Will this 20 1/4 in square housing fit the existing 21 5/8 in cut-out in my older wall opening?

Yes — the housing overall dimensions are 20 1/4 in high by 20 1/4 in wide, designed specifically for a 21 5/8 in by 21 5/8 in cut-out.
