Automotive A/C Manifold Gauge Set
The Dayton 4PDF7 is a mechanical manifold gauge set built for automotive air-conditioning service. It uses R-134A refrigerant and includes two piston-style valves with three SAE-approved hoses. The kit suits technicians who need a compact, aluminium-bodied tool for pressure testing and charging tasks.
Pressure Range And Hose Reach
High and low-side dry gauges measure 30 in Hg to 350 psi and 0 to 500 psi respectively. The 72 in hoses give ample reach around engine bays while the blind ports store hose ends when not in use. Very high-pressure systems beyond 500 psi fall outside the calibrated range.
R-134A Service Limits
The set is dedicated to R-134A automotive applications and carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive-harm chemicals. It does not support other refrigerants or industrial pressure-testing standards. A built-in hook and sight glass aid handling and visual checks during operation.

Questions about this item
Will the 72 in hoses reach the service ports on my older R-134a vehicle without stretching?
The three SAE-approved hoses are each 72 in long, giving ample reach for most engine bays while the aluminium manifold block stays clear of hot components.
How do I verify the gauges read correctly after I hook everything up?
With the valves closed, the low-side gauge should sit at 30 in Hg vacuum and the high-side gauge at zero; opening the valves should show live system pressure up to 500 psi on the high side and 350 psi on the low side.
Does the set include the R-134a couplers or must I buy them separately?
The kit ships with three hoses, the two-valve aluminium manifold with blind ports, a hook and a sight glass; quick-connect couplers for R-134a service ports are not included and must be purchased separately.
