Grade 80 steel slip hook with swivel eye rated for 7,100 lb working load
This Dayton slip hook is a Grade 80 lifting component built for overhead rigging. The forged steel body and swivel eye let the load rotate freely while under tension. It is sized for 3/8 in chain and rated at 7100 lb working load limit. Riggers and maintenance crews use it where a secure, pivoting connection is required.
The working load limit of 7100 lb covers most medium-duty hoisting tasks with 3/8 in Grade 80 chain. The 1 5/8 in hook opening accepts standard master links and shackles without binding. Loads beyond the marked limit or chains of a higher grade exceed the design envelope and must be avoided.
The swivel eye is the defining feature that prevents chain twist during vertical lifts. It rotates under load so the hook aligns naturally with the sling. Buyers who need a fixed clevis or a hook without rotational freedom should select a different style.

The swivel eye inside diameter is 1 9/16 in and the inside height is 1 5/8 in, so it matches chain made to those dimensions.
The hook body carries the Grade 80 marking and the 7,100 lb working load limit is stamped on the fitting for on-site confirmation.
The hook ships as a complete swivel slip hook with the eye and latch assembled; no separate pin or bolt is required.
