Door-Width Air Curtain Blower

The Dayton 6E819 air curtain blower mounts above openings up to eight feet wide and twelve feet high. A 3/4 hp single-phase motor drives a 35-inch wide galvanized steel housing rated at 24 gauge. Two-speed operation lets installers match airflow to the doorway traffic level.

Sustained Airflow Delivery

Continuous operation at 115 V AC produces 4,850 feet per minute outlet velocity. With a 36-inch cabinet the unit moves 3,930 cfm, while 38-inch and 42-inch cabinets yield 4,150 cfm and 4,585 cfm respectively. The closed-base design maintains steady pressure across the curtain width during extended run periods.

Voltage and Phase Constraints

The motor requires 115 V AC single-phase supply, limiting installation to standard North American commercial circuits. One motor and two fixed speeds mean airflow cannot be modulated beyond the factory settings. Overall depth of 11 inches and height of 10 3/4 inches define the minimum soffit clearance needed for mounting.
