Compact SPDT Limit Switch
This Dayton limit switch provides single-pole double-throw switching in a miniature body. It is suited for automation, safety interlocks and position sensing where a compact footprint is required. The coil-spring wobble stick allows actuation from multiple angles.
Surface-mount design with screw terminals
The switch mounts on a flat surface and uses screw terminals for secure wiring. A 3.94 in actuator extends from the top of a 2.41 in high body that measures 1.12 in wide and 1.01 in deep. The assembly carries a NEMA 1 rating and is not boot sealed.
Rated 10 A at 250 V AC
The contacts are rated for 10 A at 250 V AC in normal use. No fan or active cooling is present, so the device operates silently and adds negligible heat to the enclosure. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item
What does the 10 A at 250 V AC rating cap in practice?
The SPDT contacts are rated for 10 A at 250 V AC, so the switch can control loads up to that current and voltage on either the normally open or normally closed circuit.
What are the body dimensions and mounting style for fitting this limit switch?
The miniature body measures 2.41 in high, 1.12 in wide and 1.01 in deep, and it is designed for surface mounting.
How is the switch wired and what step is often missed?
Connections are made to the screw terminals; the step often missed is tightening each terminal securely so the SPDT circuit remains reliable under vibration.
