DBI/SALA 1244412 Shock-Absorbing Lanyard

This 6 ft double-leg lanyard uses tubular polyester webbing with a steel rebar hook at the anchorage end and a steel snap hook at the harness end. A visual load indicator shows when the unit has absorbed a fall. It meets ANSI A10.32 and OSHA 1910.66 and 1926.502 requirements for a 310 lb weight capacity.

Workers needing continuous tie-off

The twin legs allow the user to stay connected while moving between anchor points, making it suitable for rebar work and structural steel. It is not adjustable, so users who need a variable-length lanyard should consider a different model. The fixed 6 ft length may limit positioning in tight spaces.

310 lb weight capacity

This is the maximum user weight including tools and clothing that the lanyard is rated to arrest. Exceeding this limit voids the ANSI and OSHA compliance and risks failure during a fall. Confirm the total attached weight before use.

Questions about this item

What type of harness connection does the DBI/SALA 1244412 lanyard require for a secure attachment?

The harness end uses a steel snap hook that locks into a compatible fall-arrest harness D-ring.

How does the 6 ft tubular webbing lanyard perform when anchored to a rebar hook on older steel structures?

The steel rebar hook opens wide enough for large-diameter rebar or structural steel, and the tubular webbing absorbs energy during a fall.

After a fall event, how can I confirm the lanyard is still safe to use?

Check the visual load indicator; if the stitching is torn or the label is exposed, the unit has deployed and must be removed from service.
