Full-body harness for hot work with Nomex-Kevlar construction, 310 lb capacity and ANSI Z359.11 compliance
The 3M DBI-SALA Delta II is a full-body harness built for hot-work environments. Its Nomex-Kevlar webbing resists heat and flame exposure during welding or cutting tasks. The universal sizing fits a wide range of workers without adjustment complexity. It meets ANSI Z359.11 requirements for fall protection.
A crossover harness style positions the webbing across the chest for secure weight distribution during a fall. Mating leg-strap buckles fasten quickly and stay locked under vibration or movement. Steel dorsal D-ring provides a single certified attachment point for lanyards or self-retracting lifelines. No chest-strap buckles reduce snag points on structure.
The harness is rated for a maximum working load of 310 lb including tools and clothing. Workers exceeding this limit must select a higher-capacity model to remain compliant. ANSI Z359.11 certification covers the complete assembly as tested. Buyers needing integrated chest D-rings or side-positioning rings should specify a different configuration.

The ANSI Z359.11 standard sets the performance requirements for full-body fall protection harnesses, including dynamic strength testing, static strength minimums, and labeling rules that this model meets.
This universal-size crossover harness uses a steel back D-ring as the fall-arrest attachment and mating leg-strap buckles; no chest buckles are present, so the wearer steps through the leg loops and pulls the vest up over the shoulders.
Don the vest, connect each mating leg buckle until it clicks, then tighten the shoulder and leg straps so the back D-ring sits between the shoulder blades — the step users skip is verifying that the D-ring stays centred after movement.
