Portable DVD Player with Swivel Screen

The DBPOWER portable DVD player has a 15.6 inch HD display with 1280 by 800 resolution. It plays CD, DVD, VCD and SVCD discs along with USB and SD media. A 5000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to six hours of playback.

Ideal for Travel and Rear-Seat Use

Families on long car trips can mount the unit on a headrest using the 270 degree swivel and 180 degree flip. Campers and road-trippers get hours of viewing without mains power. Buyers who need Blu-ray playback or streaming apps should look at a different device.

Simple Setup with Included Accessories

The package supplies a car charger, remote control and charging cable so the player works straight away. Discs load through a front slot and the on-screen menu handles region-free playback. The only common issue is forgetting to charge the battery before a journey.

Questions about this item

What type of discs do I need to play on the DBPOWER 17.9" Portable DVD Player?

The player supports CD, DVD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/+R, DVD+RW/-RW, VCD and SVCD discs. It does not play Blu-ray DVDs.

Can I mount the 15.6" screen on a car headrest while keeping my existing headrest in place?

Yes, the 270° swivel and 180° flip screen lets you angle the display for rear-seat viewers without removing the vehicle headrest.

How do I confirm the 1280*800 resolution is active after I turn the unit on?

Play a disc; the on-screen menu will show the current resolution, and a sharp, clear picture at 1280*800 confirms the HD screen is operating correctly.
