Direct Replacement Fan

The DBTLAP 12 V 1.7 W square fan matches the SUNON GM1255PHV1-A 13.B2340.R.X.GN form factor at 55 by 55 by 15 mm. It serves as a drop-in cooler for compatible laptops and servers. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm operation.

Voltage And Power Constraints

The fan runs on 12 V DC and draws 1.7 W, so the host system must supply that exact rail and power budget. No speed control or PWM interface is documented in the supplied data. Builders must verify the connector pinout matches the original part before installation.

Upgrades From Worn Originals

This part replaces a failed or noisy OEM fan of identical dimensions and electrical rating. The jump is worth it when the original bearing has degraded or airflow has dropped below thermal requirements. Buyers needing higher airflow, different voltage or a larger frame should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12 V or a different voltage version for the SUNON GM1255PHV1-A fan?

The fan is rated for DC 12 V only; choose this version when your laptop or server supplies 12 V to the fan header.

What does the 1.7 W rating mean once the fan is installed?

It draws 1.7 watts at 12 V, so the system fan header must supply at least that much power for full speed.

Does the 55x55x15 mm size and 12 V interface cap airflow or compatibility?

The square 55 mm frame and 12 V two-wire connection limit fit to bays designed for that exact footprint and voltage.
