Replacement Cooling Fan

This DBTLAP 12V 0.08A 40mm 4010 3wire fan serves as a direct replacement for the POWER LOGIC PLA04010S12M-1 model in laptop cooling pads. It operates at 12 volts with a current draw of 0.08 amperes and fits the standard 40x40x10mm footprint. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm basic operation.

Included Single Fan Unit

The package contains only the 4010 cooling fan itself with its three-wire connector for speed monitoring and control. No mounting screws, thermal pads or additional cables are supplied. Buyers must verify the connector pinout and physical dimensions against the original component using the supplied photographs before installation.

For Targeted Fan Replacement

This part suits technicians or owners replacing a single failed 40mm three-wire fan in a compatible cooling pad. It does not suit users seeking a complete cooling pad assembly, a different voltage or connector type, or a larger airflow solution. Without the original part number or clear photos, compatibility cannot be assured.

Questions about this item

How often should the 4010 fan be cleaned or replaced under regular use?

The 12 V 0.08 A fan is tested before shipping; cleaning the 40 mm blades every few months will extend its life, and replacement is only needed if bearing noise or airflow drops noticeably.

What limits continuous operation of the 4010 cooler first — heat, power draw or bearing wear?

At 12 V and 0.08 A the power draw is very low, so the 40 x 40 x 10 mm sleeve bearing typically reaches its wear limit before thermal throttling becomes an issue.

How much noise and heat does the 4010 fan add when the cooling pad runs all day?

The 12 V 0.08 A motor produces a quiet low-frequency hum and only slight warmth at the 40 mm frame, making it suitable for continuous desk use.
