Replaces the Everflow R124010SL 12V .10A 4010 three-wire cooling fan in compatible laptops
This replacement fan fits the Everflow R124010SL cooler used in select laptop cooling pads. It operates at 12 volts and draws 0.10 amps from the pad's power header. The three-wire connector supplies power, ground and a tachometer signal for speed monitoring. Buyers who need a different voltage, connector pin-out or physical frame size cannot use this part.
The 12V 0.10A rating caps airflow at the level designed for the original Everflow cooler. A three-wire header reports RPM but does not accept PWM control signals, so speed varies only with voltage changes. The 4010 frame fixes the mounting pattern and blade diameter, preventing installation in pads that require a different form factor. Users who want software fan curves or higher static pressure must choose a cooler with a four-wire PWM header and a larger frame.
Swapping the original fan restores the cooling pad's intended airflow when bearings become noisy or the rotor stops spinning. The jump is worth it when the pad still fits the laptop but thermal performance has dropped due to fan degradation. If the pad's chassis is cracked or the power circuit has failed, replacing only the fan will not solve the overheating problem.

Select the part number that matches your original EVERFLOW R124010SL exactly; compare the photos and voltage or current ratings on the label before ordering.
It indicates the fan draws 12 volts at 0.10 amps, so the laptop's fan header must supply that voltage and current for correct speed and cooling.
The three wires provide power, ground and a tachometer signal, allowing the system to monitor fan speed but not to vary it with PWM control.
