Direct replacement for Acer TravelMate 6413

This lithium CMOS battery is a direct replacement for the Acer TravelMate 6413 laptop. It restores the real-time clock and BIOS settings when the original cell fails. The part is new and tested before shipping. It is intended for motherboard-level repair, not for the main laptop battery.

Lithium cell keeps BIOS alive

The lithium chemistry provides the steady low current needed to retain CMOS data while the system is off. It comfortably handles years of standby time and cold boots. Capacity runs out when the cell voltage drops below the threshold that the firmware requires to hold configuration data.

Fits motherboard holder, frees main battery

The battery slots into the existing CMOS holder on the motherboard, requiring only a small Phillips screwdriver and basic anti-static care. No soldering or additional cables are needed. Replacing the cell frees the main battery from constantly trickle-charging a dead CMOS backup.
