Compatible CMOS Battery for TravelMate 6460

This DBTLAP lithium coin cell replaces the original CMOS BIOS RTC battery on an Acer TravelMate 6460 motherboard. It restores the system clock and BIOS settings when the existing cell has failed. The part is supplied new and tested before shipping. It is not a main laptop power battery.

Capacity and headroom

The lithium chemistry provides the steady low current needed to keep real-time clock and CMOS memory alive for years. It handles normal standby loads without issue. The cell will eventually deplete and require another replacement when the system clock begins to drift again.

Single specification that decides fit

This battery is built specifically for the TravelMate 6460 platform. Buyers with a different laptop model or a desktop motherboard cannot use it. Confirm the exact model number before ordering.
