Compatible HP Pavilion dv6000 CMOS Battery

This lithium CMOS battery replaces the BIOS RTC cell on HP Pavilion dv6000 motherboards. It is a direct replacement for a faulty or depleted original. The part is not a main laptop power battery.

Simple motherboard installation

The coin-style cell fits into the existing holder on the motherboard. No soldering or special tools are required. Care must be taken to observe the correct polarity when inserting the new battery.

Maintains system time and BIOS settings

The battery provides the low current needed to keep the real-time clock and CMOS memory active while the laptop is off. It does not power the laptop itself. A fresh cell restores accurate boot-time data retention.
