Replacement CPU Fan for Latitude 5285

This new cooling fan is built to fit the Dell Latitude 5285 laptop. It replaces the original CPU cooler when the factory unit fails or becomes noisy. The part matches the EG50040S1-C970-S9A reference used in that model. Installers should verify the connector and mounting holes against the original before fitting.

Connector and mounting match

The single specification that decides fit is the exact match to the EG50040S1-C970-S9A part number. The fan ships with the correct plug and screw positions for the Latitude 5285 motherboard. No adapters or modifications are required when the part number aligns.

Cooling capacity for standard workloads

The fan handles typical office and web browsing loads on the Latitude 5285 without throttle. Sustained heavy compute such as video rendering or long compiles will push the single-fan design to its limit. Buyers who need more cooling headroom for continuous high-TDP tasks should consider external laptop coolers.
