Replacement Fan for Legion Laptops

This DBTLAP cooling fan serves as a direct replacement for the CPU and GPU cooler in specific Lenovo Legion models including the 5, 5i, Y7000P, R7000, Y550 and related 2020H variants. It operates at 12V with a 0.8A current draw to match the original thermal solution. Buyers must verify the part number against their existing fan before ordering.

Sustained Thermal Operation

The fan is designed to maintain airflow during extended gaming or rendering sessions where the processor and graphics chip generate continuous heat. Each unit undergoes individual testing before dispatch to confirm reliable spin-up and stable RPM under load. It addresses the thermal throttling that occurs when an original cooler degrades or fails.

Compatibility Constraints

Fitment is limited to the exact Lenovo part numbers listed such as DFS2400125Q0T, FN50, DFSCK22115181Q and FN51 across the supported chassis codes. The connector pinout and mounting holes align only with those specific assemblies. This part will not fit other Legion generations or different laptop brands.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 12V .8A fan draw when the Legion 5 runs all day?

The fan is rated at 12 volts and 0.8 amps, so its maximum continuous draw is the product of those two figures.

What must I already have to install this replacement fan in my laptop?

You need a compatible Lenovo Legion model listed in the compatibility list and the ability to open the chassis and disconnect the old fan connector.

Will this fan fit the older Legion Y550 I still use alongside my newer machine?

The Y550-15E appears in the supported model list, so the fan is designed to match the mounting points and connector of that chassis.
