DBTLAP Fan for Acer Chromebook c720

This DBTLAP CPU cooling fan is a direct replacement part for the Acer Chromebook c720. It operates at 5V and draws 0.50A to maintain safe processor temperatures. The unit suits owners who need to restore original cooling performance after a failure. It is not for users seeking an external cooler or a higher-capacity upgrade.

Installation requires matching part number

Verify the part number against the original component before ordering to ensure 100% compatibility. Each fan is tested before shipping and photos show the exact item supplied. The main risk is ordering an incorrect variant that will not fit the chassis or connector. Professional fitting is recommended if you lack laptop disassembly experience.

Sustained load keeps processor within thermal limits

Under continuous workloads the fan maintains steady airflow at its rated 5V 0.50A specification. It prevents throttling during extended sessions rather than only short bursts. The design targets the thermal profile of the c720 platform without extra headroom. It is not for systems modified to run higher power envelopes than stock.
