Replacement Fan for Eee PC 1215

This new DBTLAP cooling fan is built for the ASUS Eee PC 1215 series, covering models such as the 1215T, 1215P, 1215N, 1215B, 1215TL and 1215CT. It operates at 5 V and draws 0.5 A, matching the original power specification. The unit is intended for owners who need a direct swap for a worn or noisy OEM cooler. Each fan is tested before it leaves the supplier.

Single Fan Ships Without Mounting Hardware

The package contains only the fan itself; no screws, brackets, thermal pads or cables are included. Buyers must reuse the existing mounting hardware from the laptop. Photographs of the actual item are provided so you can verify the connector and housing match your original part before ordering. The supplier offers a model-number check if you are uncertain about fit.

5 V 0.5 A Cooler for Light Thermal Loads

The 5 V 0.5 A rating supplies enough airflow for the low-power processors found in the Eee PC 1215 line during everyday tasks such as web browsing and document editing. It is not designed for sustained heavy workloads or upgraded components that raise the thermal envelope beyond the original design. Compatibility is limited to the listed 1215 variants; other netbook models will not fit.

Questions about this item

Will the AB05105HX69DB00 fan need periodic cleaning or bearing replacement?

The fan is a direct replacement for the original cooler; dust buildup on the blades is the only routine maintenance, and the unit is tested before shipping.

What thermal limit appears first when the 5 V 0.5 A fan runs continuously?

The 5 V 0.5 A power rating sets the maximum airflow; sustained loads that exceed the original heatsink capacity will hit that thermal ceiling first.

How much noise and heat does the 1215-series cooler produce during all-day use?

It matches the stock fan profile for the Eee PC 1215 range, so acoustic output and exhaust temperature stay within the laptop's original design envelope.
