Replacement CPU fan for Latitude 5285

This new DBTLAP cooling fan carries part number EG50040S1-C970-S9A and is built specifically for the Dell Latitude 5285 laptop. It replaces a worn or noisy original cooler to restore proper thermal performance for everyday workloads. The package contains one fan unit ready for installation.

Verify part number and photos before ordering

Match the EG50040S1-C970-S9A code on your existing fan to the listing to guarantee fitment. Compare the supplied photographs with your current cooler, checking connector orientation and screw-hole layout. If the model number on your device differs, do not assume compatibility; contact the seller with your exact model for confirmation.

Tested unit with direct motherboard connector

Each fan is tested before shipping to ensure it spins correctly and draws the expected current. The assembly plugs straight into the Latitude 5285 motherboard header without adapters, so cable routing stays inside the original chassis channels. Correct mounting-screw alignment avoids stress on the plastic housing during daily open-and-close cycles.
