Compatible HP ProBook models

This replacement CPU cooling fan fits HP ProBook 450 G5, 455 G5 and 470 G5 laptops. It is a new component intended for owners of those specific models who need to replace a worn or noisy original fan. Buyers with other ProBook series or different laptop brands cannot use this part.

Critical part-number match

The fan carries part numbers L03854-001 and 0FJNC000H; matching these codes to the original unit is the only way to confirm fitment. Visual differences in connector layout or mounting tabs mean that even similar-looking fans will not work. Shoppers who cannot verify the numbers should not order.

Straightforward swap with common pitfalls

Installation requires opening the laptop chassis, disconnecting the old fan cable and securing the new unit with the original screws. Each fan is tested before shipping, yet the most frequent issue is ordering the wrong variant for a closely related model. Comparing the supplied photos to the existing fan eliminates that risk.
