Replacement CPU Fan for ThinkPad L560 and L570

This DBTLAP cooling fan is a direct replacement part for Lenovo ThinkPad L560 and L570 laptops. It matches the ND55C10-15B12 part number and runs on a 5V .4A power draw. The unit is supplied new and individually tested before shipping to confirm correct operation.

Single Fan Unit with No Extra Hardware

The package contains only the 1x fan assembly; no screws, thermal pads, cables or software are included. Buyers must reuse existing mounting hardware from the original cooler. The lack of bundled accessories means installers should verify they have the necessary fixings before beginning the repair.

Verified Fit Through Photos and Part Number

Each fan is tested prior to dispatch, and the supplier asks purchasers to compare product photos with the original component to confirm identity. Compatibility is tied to the specific ND55C10-15B12 designation rather than the laptop model alone. This part will not suit other ThinkPad series or models that use a different cooler design or connector layout.

Questions about this item

Will the ND55C10-15B12 fan need periodic cleaning or eventual replacement?

The fan is a mechanical component that accumulates dust over time; cleaning the heatsink fins and vents extends its life, and it should be replaced if bearing noise appears or airflow drops.

What thermal limit typically appears first during prolonged heavy workloads on the ThinkPad L560 or L570?

Sustained loads push the CPU toward its thermal ceiling, causing the firmware to throttle clock speeds once the heatsink and this fan can no longer dissipate heat fast enough.

How much power does the 5V 0.4A fan draw and does it add noticeable noise or heat during all-day use?

It draws 0.4 A at 5 V, a modest load on the system, and is tested before shipping to run quietly; normal operation adds minimal extra heat inside the chassis.
