Replacement fan for Samsung NP500R

This new DBTLAP cooling fan replaces the original BA31-00153A unit in Samsung NP500R, NP500R5K, NP500R5H and NP500R5H-Y07 laptops. It matches the FCN FG71 DFS200405060T specification and runs on 5V 0.5A power. The part restores factory cooling performance for these specific models.

Fits directly into existing chassis

The fan slots into the original mounting points without requiring extra brackets or adapters. It draws power from the motherboard header already present in the NP500R series. No additional wiring, thermal paste or software configuration is needed for installation.

Single fan unit in the package

The box contains only the 1 x Fan component shown in the supplier photos. Buyers must verify the part number against their old unit before ordering because no mounting screws, cables or instruction manual are included. Compatibility questions should be directed to the supplier for confirmation.

Questions about this item

Does the 5V .5A fan handle sustained load without thermal throttling?

The fan is a direct replacement for the original Samsung NP500R series cooler and runs at the rated 5V 0.5A, so it maintains the same airflow the laptop was designed for.

How loud is the FCN FG71 fan during all-day operation?

The unit is a like-for-like replacement of the original BA31-00153A cooler, so its acoustic profile matches the factory specification for the NP500R chassis.

Which Samsung models must I already own for this BA31-00153A fan to fit?

Compatible laptops are the NP500R, NP500R5K, NP500R5H and NP500R5H-Y07; verify the part number on your existing fan before ordering.
