Replacement Fan for Sony VGN-NW Laptops

This new CPU cooling fan fits Sony VGN-NW series laptops including models 21, 23, 25, 26, 35, 38 and 320 variants. It is intended for owners whose original cooler has failed or become noisy. The part comes individually tested and includes a nine-month warranty.

Model-Specific Compatibility List

The single specification that decides fit is the exact laptop model number printed on the service tag. This fan is produced for the VGN-NW21, NW23, NW25E, NW26E, NW26EG, NW26JG, NW26M, NW250E, NW320F, NW320S, NW35E and NW38 designations. Buyers with any other Sony series or unlisted VGN-NW sub-model cannot use this cooler.

Simple Swap With Visual Verification

Installation requires opening the laptop chassis and disconnecting the old fan connector before fitting the replacement. Each unit ships after individual testing to confirm 100 percent operation. The supplier notes that manufacturers such as Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon or Kipo may vary by stock, so comparing the received fan to the original unit before fitting avoids connector or bracket mismatches.

Questions about this item

Will this cooler lower CPU temperatures on my VGN-NW25E once installed?

It is a direct-replacement fan for the VGN-NW25E and other listed models, so it restores the original airflow the laptop was designed for.

What connector does the fan use to attach to the motherboard?

The fan plugs into the standard CPU-fan header used on the VGN-NW series motherboards.

Does the fan assembly include the mounting screws and bracket for the VGN-NW320F chassis?

The package contains only the fan unit itself; reuse the original screws and bracket from your existing cooler.
