Replacement Fan for SUNON EG50060S1-C450-S9A

This new DBTLAP cooling fan replaces the SUNON EG50060S1-C450-S9A unit in compatible laptops. It operates at DC5V with a 0.40A current draw. The package includes one tested fan. Buyers must verify the part number against their original component before ordering.

Capacity and Headroom

The fan delivers the specified 0.40A airflow for standard laptop CPU cooling tasks. It handles typical thermal loads within the design limits of the original SUNON specification. The unit runs out of headroom when the laptop chassis demands higher static pressure or airflow than the EG50060S1-C450-S9A rating provides.

Upgrade Context

This part is a direct like-for-like replacement, not a performance upgrade. It restores original cooling function when the existing fan fails or wears out. The jump is worth it only when the current fan matches the exact EG50060S1-C450-S9A model. It does not suit laptops requiring different voltage, connector pinout or mounting dimensions.

Questions about this item

Will the DC5V 0.40A fan run safely on my laptop's original motherboard header?

Yes — the fan is rated for DC5V and draws 0.40A, matching the SUNON EG50060S1-C450-S9A specification, so it will operate within the same power envelope as the original cooler.

How can I confirm the replacement fan is spinning correctly after I install it?

Each unit is tested before shipping; once fitted, listen for smooth rotation and check that your laptop's BIOS or hardware-monitor utility reports a stable RPM reading for the CPU fan.

What exactly ships in the package and do I need any extra parts?

The box contains 1 x fan only — no mounting screws, thermal pads or cables are included, so reuse the hardware from your old cooler or source compatible fixings separately.
