Replacement fan for Surface Pro 4 1724

This CPU cooling fan is built for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 model 1724 with an Intel i5 processor and part number CC131K06. It is intended for owners whose original fan has failed or become noisy and who want a direct drop-in replacement.

Upgrade from a worn or loud stock cooler

The jump is worth it when the existing fan spins unevenly, rattles, or no longer keeps the tablet within safe temperatures under load. A tested unit restores the factory airflow profile without altering the device’s thermal design.

Simple swap for experienced technicians

Installation requires opening the sealed chassis, disconnecting the old fan, and fitting the new one; the connector and screw pattern match the original. Common issues are damaging the display cable during disassembly or forgetting to re-apply thermal paste on the heatsink.
