Questions about this item

What does the 0.50 A rating mean when the fan is running inside my Xiaomi 13.3 laptop?

The 0.50 A rating shows the maximum current the fan draws from the motherboard header; in practice it runs well within the laptop's power budget and spins at its design speed without tripping protection circuits.

Which connector standard does the EG50040S1-CD50-S9A use and what does that limit?

The fan uses the proprietary Xiaomi 13.3 header, so it only fits that exact socket and cannot be adapted to standard 3-pin or 4-pin PWM headers without a custom cable.

What physical clearance does the metal-leaf fan need to mount in the chassis?

The metal-leaf impeller and housing are built to the original Xiaomi 13.3 dimensions, so it drops into the existing screw holes and clears the heatsink fins without modification.
