Replacement Cooling Fan

This new DBTLAP cooling fan replaces the original CPU cooler in HP Chromebook 14a-na laptops carrying part number M23599-001. It is intended for owners or repair technicians who need a direct swap to restore proper thermal performance.

Critical Part Number Match

The only specification that guarantees fit is the exact part number M23599-001 alongside the alternative codes TPN-Q234 and EG50040S1-CL20-S9A. Buyers must verify these identifiers against the original fan before ordering because visually similar units are not interchangeable.

Installation Context

The package contains one fan unit tested before shipping and nothing else, so the builder must reuse existing mounting screws, thermal pads and the motherboard connector. It frees the repair from sourcing a complete assembly but demands care when transferring the original hardware.

Questions about this item

Will this fan fit my HP Chromebook 14a-na without modification?

The fan is built for the 14a-na chassis and matches the M23599-001 part number, so it aligns with the original mounting points.

What connector does the EG50040S1-CL20-S9A use to attach to the motherboard?

It uses the factory connector that plugs directly into the Chromebook 14a-na fan header, requiring no adapter.

How do I verify the physical match before installing?

Compare the unit you receive with the product photos and your old fan; the housing shape, screw holes and cable routing must be identical.
