Questions about this item

Does the package include mounting screws or thermal paste, or just the fan itself?

The box contains 1 x Fan only; screws and thermal compound are not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I confirm this fan matches my specific HP 2000 or Compaq CQ58 sub-model?

Compare your original fan against the listed part numbers — FB7U, DFS531205MCOT, 688306-001 — and the model codes such as 2000-2D, 2a10NR, 2a53CA, 2a23NR, 2a51XX, 2b29WM, 2b30DX, 2b53CA, 2a28CA, CQ58, 655, G58, 650 before ordering.

What does the tested 100 % work claim mean once the fan is installed in the laptop?

Each unit is bench-tested before dispatch so it should spin up and cool the CPU immediately on fitment; a 9-month warranty backs that performance.
