Questions about this item

How much power does the DBTLAP CPU fan draw while running continuously in a ThinkPad W510?

The fan is a direct replacement for FRU 60Y5493 and 60Y4981, matching the original 5 V design so power draw stays identical to the factory unit.

Which connector must the ThinkPad W510 motherboard provide for this fan to operate?

It uses the standard 4-pin PWM header found on W510 discrete-graphics boards (part GC055010VH-A), so no adapter or extra cable is required.

Will this cooler fit alongside the original heatsink and discrete GPU assembly in a W510?

Yes — it replicates the 13.V1.B4160.F.GN form factor, aligning with the existing screw posts and clearing the discrete graphics heatsink without modification.
