This replacement CPU fan fits Samsung NP 450R5E 450R5U 470R5E 455R4J 455R5V and 450R4E laptops. It is designed for owners of these specific models who need to restore cooling after the original fan fails or becomes noisy. Buyers with other Samsung series or different brands should look elsewhere.

Single Fan Unit Tested Before Shipping

The package includes one fan unit. Each item is tested individually before dispatch to confirm it spins and operates correctly. The manufacturer notes that fans may come from Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or other suppliers depending on stock, so the exact brand cannot be guaranteed. No additional mounting hardware or thermal paste is supplied.

Direct Fit Restores Stock Airflow

As a direct replacement, the fan draws power from the laptop’s existing header and fits the original mounting points without modification. It restores the factory airflow path, keeping thermals and noise at the levels the chassis was designed for. There is no external power requirement and no software control needed.

Questions about this item

Will this fan fit the Samsung NP 450 series laptop I already own?

The fan is listed for Samsung NP 450R5E, 450R5U and 450R4E models. Compare the part number and connector on your original fan with the product photos before ordering.

How can I verify the replacement fan spins correctly after installation?

Power on the laptop and listen for steady airflow from the vent. Use a hardware-monitoring tool to confirm the fan speed reports a stable RPM reading under load.

Does the package include mounting screws or a heatsink, or just the fan itself?

The package contains 1 x Fan only. Mounting screws, thermal pads and any heatsink assembly must be reused from the original cooling unit or sourced separately.
