Replacement CPU Cooling Fan

This DBTLAP replacement cooler is built for laptop owners whose original SUNON EG50040S1-C950-S9A fan has failed or become noisy. It arrives new and tested, matching the DC5V specification of the factory part. The unit is a direct swap for the component identified by the 50040 model reference.

Included Single Fan Unit

The package contains one cooling fan only; no mounting screws, thermal pads, cables or control software are supplied. Buyers must reuse all fixings and connectors from the original assembly. The 100 percent pre-shipment test confirms the motor spins, but installation skill determines the final result.

Verify Part Number Before Ordering

Check the label on your existing cooler to confirm the exact EG50040S1-C950-S9A code and compare the product photos with your hardware. Laptop manufacturers often use several similar-looking fans across different chassis, so visual match and part-number match are both required. If uncertain, provide your laptop model number for confirmation before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How often will the EG50040S1-C950-S9A fan need replacement?

The fan is tested before shipping and intended as a direct replacement for the original SUNON cooler; lifespan depends on operating conditions and dust buildup.

What limits continuous operation of the DC5V cooler?

The 5 V supply and the fan’s rated speed set the thermal ceiling; sustained loads that exceed its airflow capacity will raise temperatures first.

How much noise and heat does the EG50040S1-C950-S9A produce all day?

As a single DC5V replacement fan, it runs at the speed defined by the original SUNON design; acoustic and thermal output match that specification.
