Replacement GPU Cooling Fan

This replacement GPU cooling fan is designed for ASUS ROG Flow 16 X16 Zephyrus laptops including the GV601 series. It suits owners who need to replace a worn or noisy original fan in these specific models. The part operates at 12V and 1A.

Normal Operation Thermals and Noise

In normal use the fan draws 1A at 12V to move air across the GPU heatsink. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm it spins correctly and meets the electrical specification. Buyers should verify the part number against their laptop before ordering.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under sustained load the fan maintains continuous airflow to keep the GPU within its thermal limits. It is intended for the listed GV601 models only and will not fit other laptop series. Buyers who need a different connector or form factor should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the GPU cooling fan in my ASUS ROG Flow 16 GV601, and which step do people often miss?

Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the old fan cable from the motherboard header, swap the fan, then reconnect the cable firmly; the step most often missed is reseating the connector fully so the 12V 1A power engages.

What maintenance or replacement will this fan need later?

Clean dust from the blades and heatsink fins every few months with compressed air; if bearing noise returns or airflow drops, replace the fan with the same 12V 1A unit.

What limit appears first when the laptop runs sustained loads with this fan?

The fan runs at a fixed 12V 1A rating, so under prolonged heavy GPU load the thermal ceiling of the laptop chassis is reached before the fan can increase airflow further.
