Tested reliability and sustained operation

Each unit is tested individually before dispatch to confirm 100 per cent functionality. The 9 month warranty period reflects the supplier’s confidence in continuous daily use rather than a brief bench test. No specific airflow or noise figures are provided, so long term acoustic behaviour under load cannot be quantified.

Direct replacement for KSB0405HB AE72

This part replaces the original KSB0405HB AE72 cooler when the existing fan fails or becomes excessively loud. The upgrade is worth it when the current cooler no longer maintains safe temperatures or produces distracting noise. Questions about this item

How loud is the KSB0405HB AE72 fan when running all day in an ASUS Eee PC 1015?

The fan is tested individually before shipping to ensure it operates correctly, so it should run quietly at its normal speed without excessive noise during extended use.

Which connector does the KSB0405HB AE72 need on the motherboard to work?

It is designed as a direct replacement for the original fan in ASUS Eee PC 1015T, 1015B, 1015P and 1015PN models, so it uses the same motherboard header.

Will this KSB0405HB AE72 fit my older ASUS Eee PC 1015PN alongside the original heatsink?

Yes, it is compatible with the 1015PN and the other listed 1015 series models, matching the original mounting points and airflow direction for the existing heatsink.
