Compatible Laptop Models

This replacement CPU cooling fan fits Acer eMachines G640, G730, G730G, G730Z and G730ZG laptops. It is intended for owners of those specific models who need to replace a worn or noisy original cooler. The part number KSB06105HA-AA21 identifies the exact fitment required.

Installation Requirements

The fan mounts inside the laptop chassis and connects to the existing motherboard header. No external power or additional brackets are needed beyond what the original design provides. Replacing the cooler restores proper airflow over the heatsink without altering the laptop’s form factor.

Upgrade Context

This unit replaces the factory-installed fan when bearings fail or airflow degrades over time. The swap is worthwhile when the original cooler spins loudly, overheats the processor or stops spinning altogether. Buyers needing a different connector layout or a fan for another laptop series should look elsewhere.
