Straightforward Swap with Connector Checks

Installation follows the standard teardown for these chassis: remove the bottom cover, disconnect the old fan cables, unscrew the assemblies and fit the new units. The most common issue is ordering the wrong variant; verify the part number on your existing fans against the list above before purchasing.

Dual-Fan 12 V 0.5 A Specification

Each fan runs at 12 V and draws 0.5 A, matching the original electrical rating for both the CPU and GPU coolers. This dual-fan configuration is the single specification that confirms correct thermal performance for the supported Dell models.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 12V 0.5A fans are working correctly after installing them in my Dell G7 7790?

After fitting both fans, power on the laptop and listen for smooth, steady airflow from the vents; the CPU and GPU temperatures should drop under load with no rattling or grinding noises.

What comes in the package and is anything else required for installation?

The box contains two cooling fans only; no screws, thermal pads or cables are included, so reuse the original fasteners from the old fans when swapping them out.

Which part number should I select — NS8CC07-18G26 or NS8CC06-18G25 — for my specific Dell model?

Compare the part number printed on your existing fans: NS8CC07-18G26 and 0MRJKK belong to one variant, while NS8CC06-18G25 and 0C04TH belong to the other; choose the set that matches your current labels.
