Replacement CPU cooling fan

This is a new replacement CPU cooling fan for Dell Latitude 5450 and Precision 3490 laptops. It matches part numbers including P165G, 08073V and EG50050S1-CP10-S9A. The fan operates at 5V and is intended for users whose original cooler has failed or become noisy.

Single fan unit in the box

The package includes only the fan itself with no additional screws, thermal pads or cables. Buyers must reuse existing mounting hardware and thermal interface material from the old cooler. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm it spins correctly.

Verify exact part number before ordering

Dell uses several different fan designs across the 14-inch 5450 and 3490 series. Compare the photos and part numbers on your current cooler — such as DC2800183S0 — to this listing. If the connector layout or screw hole positions differ, this fan will not fit.

Questions about this item

Does the 5 V fan for the Latitude 5450 and Precision 3490 have a recommended replacement schedule?

The fan is tested before shipping and intended as a direct replacement for part numbers 08073V, 8073V, EG50050S1-CP10-S9A and DC2800183S0; replace it when airflow drops or noise increases.

What thermal limit typically appears first during continuous loads on the Dell 5450 or 3490 with this cooler installed?

The CPU will hit its own thermal throttle point before the 5 V replacement fan reaches any limit, so sustained performance depends on the processor's built-in protection.

How loud and hot does the 5 V replacement fan run when the laptop operates all day?

Each unit is tested before dispatch; the fan spins at the same 5 V rating as the original, delivering comparable noise and heat levels to the factory cooler.
