Compatible Dell G-Series Models

This replacement cooler fits Dell G5 5590 and G7 17 7590 and 7790 laptops. It matches part numbers NS8CC08-18G29 NS8CC09-18G30 F7N58 X4F3M 0F7N58 0X4F3M. The unit ships new with two fans included. Buyers who need a cooler for other Dell series or non-G-series chassis cannot use this part.

DC Power and Connector Limits

The cooler runs on 12 V DC at 0.5 A drawn from the laptop's internal fan header. It has no external power input or speed control wire beyond the standard connector. Systems with a different header pinout or voltage requirement will not power the fans correctly.

Dual-Fan Thermal Capacity

Two fans target both CPU and GPU heat pipes simultaneously. The assembly handles the thermal load for the listed G5 and G7 models under normal gaming workloads. It does not add extra heat-pipe surface area or liquid cooling capacity for overclocked configurations.

Questions about this item

Which part number matches my Dell G5 5590 or G7 17 7790 7590?

The cooler replaces Dell part numbers NS8CC08-18G29, NS8CC09-18G30, F7N58, X4F3M, 0F7N58 and 0X4F3M; match the code on your original fan before ordering.

What does the DC12V 0.5A rating mean once the cooler is installed?

It draws 12 volts at up to 0.5 amps from the laptop's fan header, so the motherboard must supply that current for both fans to run at full speed.

What connector standard does this cooler use and what does it limit?

It uses the Dell proprietary fan connector keyed for the G5 5590 and G7 17 7790 7590 models; the header pins cap the maximum voltage to 12 V and current to 0.5 A.
