Replacement fan for Latitude E7300

This cooling fan is built as a direct replacement for the Dell Latitude E7300 and 7300 series laptops. It matches part numbers 0866D6, EG50040S1-CF00-S9A and DC28000NDS0. The unit is supplied new and each one is tested before it leaves the supplier.

Thermals and power in normal use

The fan draws power from the laptop's internal header and spins to move air across the heatsink when the system temperature rises. No external power adapter or separate control software is required. Noise level varies with the laptop's own fan curve and workload.

What the bundled items change

The package contains only the single fan assembly; no mounting screws, thermal pads or cables are included. Buyers must reuse the original fixings from the old cooler. The supplier asks customers to verify the part number against photos before ordering to avoid mismatches.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DBTLAP cooling fan in my Dell Latitude E7300 7300 and which step do people often get wrong?

Remove the old fan, match the DC28000NDS0 part number and connector to the motherboard header, then secure the new fan; the step people get wrong is skipping the photo check against the original 0866D6 EG50040S1-CF00-S9A unit before fitting.

What maintenance or replacement will this cooling fan need later?

The fan is a single moving part; expect to clean dust from the blades and vents periodically and replace the unit if bearing noise appears or airflow drops.

What limit shows up first under sustained use with this cooling fan?

Continuous load will hit the fan's maximum RPM and thermal ceiling first, so monitor CPU temperatures to ensure the cooler keeps pace.
