Replacement CPU fan for Precision M4800

This replacement CPU cooler is built for the DELL Precision M4800 mobile workstation. It serves technicians and owners who need to restore factory cooling performance after a bearing failure or airflow loss. Each unit is tested before dispatch and ships with a nine-month warranty.

Direct swap for the original BATA0715R5M module

The fan mounts into the existing heatsink assembly using the original screw points and the PN01 DC28000DEVL 00WGVF connector. No extra brackets, cables or thermal pads are required beyond what the laptop already provides. Installation frees the system from throttling caused by a seized or noisy OEM fan.

Upgrade from a worn or failed stock cooler

This part replaces the original Forcecon ADDA Sunon or Kipo unit that shipped with the Precision M4800. The jump is worth it when the current fan spins at zero RPM, rattles under load or no longer clears heat from the CPU die. It is not for users seeking additional heat pipes, liquid cooling or a second fan where the chassis has no provision.

Questions about this item

What sustained-load limit appears first with the BATA0715R5M fan in a Precision M4800?

The fan is tested to 100% function before shipping, so the first limit under sustained use is the thermal capacity of the M4800 chassis itself.

How much noise, heat or power does the DC28000DEVL fan add when running all day?

The replacement fan draws the same DC power as the original and is tested one by one, so it adds no extra noise, heat or power beyond the stock specification.

What must I already own for the 00WGVF cooler to work in my laptop?

You need a DELL Precision M4800 with the matching BATA0715R5M PN01 mounting points and connector; the package includes only the single fan unit.
