DBTLAP cooler for Dell R920 R930

This replacement cooler heatsink fits Dell R920 and R930 laptops using part numbers 0FVT7F or FVT7F. It is intended for owners whose original cooling assembly has failed or degraded. Buyers needing a cooler for any other laptop model or form factor cannot use this part.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The unit includes one fan that draws heat away from the CPU and GPU area during typical workloads. No acoustic or power-draw figures are supplied, so exact noise levels and consumption remain unspecified. Systems requiring passive cooling or multiple fans will not be served by this single-fan design.

Included fan and compatibility notes

The package contains one fan and the heatsink assembly; no thermal compound, mounting hardware or software is bundled. The supplier advises checking photos and part numbers before ordering to confirm an exact match. Users who cannot verify their part number against 0FVT7F or FVT7F should not purchase this cooler.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DBTLAP cooler heatsink on my Dell R920 or R930 and what step is often missed?

Match the part number 0FVT7F or FVT7F to your old heatsink, then secure the fan and connect its power cable; the step often missed is verifying the photos match your original unit before fitting.

What maintenance or replacement will this cooler heatsink need over time?

The fan is the only moving part; expect to clean dust from its blades and vents periodically and replace the fan if bearing noise or airflow loss appears.

What thermal limit appears first when this heatsink runs under sustained load?

The heatsink relies on a single fan, so its airflow capacity is the first limit reached during prolonged high heat output from the Dell R920 or R930.
