Replacement CPU fan for Satellite P755-S5385

This replacement CPU cooler fits the Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385 laptop. It is intended for owners whose original fan has failed or become noisy. The part arrives new and is tested individually before dispatch to confirm operation.

Thermal performance and power characteristics

The fan draws power from the laptop header to spin and exhaust heat from the processor. Normal use keeps component temperatures within the system design limits. Acoustic output matches the original equipment profile for this model.

Included hardware and quality assurance

The package contains one fan unit ready for installation. Each unit undergoes a 100 percent functional test prior to shipping. The supplier notes that the manufacturer may be Forcecon, ADDA, Sunon, Kipo or another source depending on stock, and backs the part with a 9-month warranty. Buyers who need a complete cooling-pad assembly with an external USB-powered base should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the DBTLAP replacement fan installed in the Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385, and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the old fan cable, unscrew the fan assembly, fit the new unit, reconnect the cable, then test before refitting the cover — skipping the test step risks reassembling with a loose connector.

What maintenance or replacement will this cooling fan need later?

The fan bearings will eventually wear; plan to clean dust from the heatsink every few months and replace the fan again if noise or airflow drops.

What limit appears first under sustained use with this cooler?

The single fan’s airflow capacity becomes the bottleneck once the CPU sustains high load, so temperatures stabilise at the level this one fan can move.
